HIGH SCHOOL BOYS SPORTS
May 7th
Again, I'm playing catch-up. Since the last time i reported on the boys, they have gone 3-7, 2-5 in league. The Boys made the long trip to Colton on April 18th, and mother nature was again in play. The Indians managed to get the first game in the books, but at a 7-3 loss. The second game was snowed out. SNOW?? In the middle of April. geezzee. Their next game at Desales yielded a loss as well, 12-2. On April 23rd, Gar-Pal came to town, and Touchet brought the hammer down on them in the first game, winning 15-1. But in a marathon second game, lost 16-12. The Indians traveled to Dayton on 26th for a non-league game. Touchet came away with the close, 7-6 victory. Friday, April 29th, was a long day. After traveling 3/4 of the way to St. John, Touchet's Coach finally got cell service, and received a call telling them that the game in St. John was cancelled due to, ugh, SNOW!!!. and that it would be rescheduled for the following Monday. So, they traveled to St. John, again on Monday, came up on the losing end of both rain soaked games, 11-1 and 6-4. The next afternoon, May 3rd, the Indians hosted league rivals Pomeroy. The boys split the double header, winning the first game 5-2, but dropping the nightcap 10-6. Thursday, May 5th, the Indians traveled to Waitsburg-Prescott, to take on the tigers, eh, cardinals, uh... oh heck, we'll just call them the Ligers. They dropped this game 4-3. The Indians season ends Monday, May 9th with a non-league match with W-P.

April 16th
Time to play catch-up now. The Indians Baseball season started off on a good note on March 16th by defeating the Dayton Bulldogs 7-4. But have had a tough time since then by dropping both ends of a double header to Tri-Cities Prep on March 24th, and getting swept in another non-league double header to Liberty Christian on March 29th. Their first league game is at Colton on Monday, April 18th, at 2:30 pm. Good luck guys!!
